Bio: I started running over 10 years ago. Over the course of that time I have run anywhere from 5k’s to Spartan Races to Marathons and everything in between. Running has provided me with a way to learn more about myself. I have learned how much I can push myself when I really want something, I have learned how it feels to accomplish goals that once seemed unachievable and I have learned that I can do hard things. I have gained more moments of confidence, clarity and peace through running, which being a mom of 3 kids can be very important!
One of the biggest things that has come out of running over the last few years is the ability to celebrate others running achievements. I really enjoy watching others gain that same feeling of accomplishment in doing the hard work it takes to get across that finish line and achieve something they did not think was possible when they first picked up that training schedule.
Why Gazelle Girl: I have been both a spectator and participant of Gazelle Girl. I love the encouraging vibe and positivity that is present within this race. There is nothing better then being surrounded by women accomplishing their goals and celebrating with everything in them these achievements. I can’t think of a better race to be a pacer for. I want nothing more than to help these ladies achieve their dreams with smiles on their faces and hands up while they cross that finish line in celebration!
